Nico Salt / @staysharppiercing
Nico is our seasoned-professional piercer and founder of Stay Sharp.
With seven years of experience in the piercing industry following a formal apprenticeship, Nico has won awards, and features in several magazine publications for achievements, piercing advice, and has been a selected as a pro-team member/ambassador for Mushroom Jewelery, NorVoch Jewelery, and attends vocational annual educational conferences such as UKAPP and BMXNet. Nico's favorite piercings are intricate ear projects and bold nose piercings, reflecting their passion for creative and precise body art.

Mike / @iron_hayden_piercer
Mike is our first ever apprentice piercer, jar-opener, top-shelf reacher, and professional hand-holder!
Coming from a background in healthcare and phlebotomy, he already came to us with a fantastic foundational knowledge of needles, cross-contamination, and demonstartes faultless bedside manner. Mike isn't quite piercing yet, but you'll be fortunate enough to meet him assisting with front of house or observing procedures.
As Mike's apprenticeship continues, we will eventually be looking for some volunteers - so keep your eyes peeled for some apprentice rate piercings!
We'll be looking for volunteers for earlobes first!

We are excited to announce our partnership with Aces Supply to reduce sharps disposal waste by 86%. Join us in this initiative!
This collaboration is not only beneficial for the environment but also advantageous for our clients. Disposable products significantly lower the risk of cross-contamination, and with no end-of-day re-processing, you'll have more time for emails or additional clients, benefiting everyone.Typically, sharps (such as needles, scalpels, insertion tapers, and scissors) are incinerated in plastic sharps containers or sent to landfill.
However, Aces Supply, in partnership with SharpSmart, offers a sustainable alternative.
SharpSmart metal tool/sharps containers are reusable, preventing thousands of plastic containers from incineration. Each SharpSmart container can be reprocessed up to 500 times, making the choice clear.
All disposable tools from Aces are fully recyclable and can be disposed of in SharpSmart metal recycling containers. The contents of these containers are sterilized in an industrial autoclave before being sent to a metal recycling facility, where they are smelted down and repurposed. Each SharpSmart container is sanitized to hospital standards before reuse.

Aces also offers a convenient collection service with no contract required. Simply arrange a collection when your containers are full. This on-demand service means you only pay for what you need—the call-out fee and container exchange cost, which is just £15 (only about £4 more than a typical plastic sharps container). Each container is 14 liters, so the average studio will likely need only three container collections twice a year.
