Being part of our line inspired by folklore and mythology, the Kumo-onna earweights are a testament to our love of japanese tradition and story telling. Roughly translating to "spider woman", this yokai also goes by the name "the binding bride" or "Jorogumo", a demon spider disguising itself as a woman of enchanting beauty to catch and feed on men by playing on their baser instincts.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, these earweights feature an intricately designed braid of hair, serving as both a symbol of grace and a connector for the jewelry to hang from, to avoid turning this delicate piece of jewelry into another charm but to offer you a wearable piece of art with a creative twist in functionality.
